Workshop in Political Economy and Political Science, PEPS 2018

The Millennium Institute for Market Imperfections and Public Policy (MiPP) and the Center for Applied Economics at University of Chile are organizing the fifth version of the Political Economy / Political Science PEPS workshop. The event will be from Nov 14 to 16, 2018, in Santiago, Chile.

The objective of the workshop is to bring together academics from around the world to discuss cutting-edge research in the fields of Political Economy and Political Science. This year, PEPS is focused on conflict and political violence.

PEPS 2018 keynote speaker is Debraj Ray. Debraj is currently Julius Silver Professor in the Faculty of Arts and Science, and Professor of Economics at New York University. His work is focused on economic development, economic theory of conflict and game theory. He is Co-Editor of the American Economic Review.
