Call for Papers
We invite you to share your research to participate in the second version of the conference “Development, Stability and Sustainability of the Bank System”, organized by Superintendencia de Bancos e Instituciones Financieras de Chile (SBIF), Asociación de Supervisores Bancarios de las Américas (ASBA), Millennium Institute for Market Imperfections and Public Policy (MIPP), and Department of Industrial Engineering, Universidad de Chile (DII).
This conference has the objective of gathering researchers, specialists and regulators with a common interest for topics on stability and sustainability of the bank. Furthermore, the event offers the opportunity to present new research and discuss current topics about financial stability and related areas.
The conference will take place on December 2, 2016 in the Faculty of Physical and Mathematical Sciences of Universidad de Chile.
Topics
This conference will focus in a wide range of subjects, from regulatory aspects, such as the impact of the Basel accords of capital adequacy and liquidity, the role of supervisor institutions, the new mechanisms of bank resolution and the use of bank stress tests in risk management, to topics on financial education and inclusion, payment methods and technological development of the financial industry, etc.
Submissions must be send by the deadline of August 15, 2016 in PDF format and English language to the e-mail address of the conference.
