A study that will characterize the impact of financial education on the school community

8 February, 2021

The Central Bank of Chile, in conjunction with the MIPP Millennium Institute of the University of Chile, will develop the 3rd version of the Course on Economic and Financial Education, “The City of Opportunities.” The purpose of this course is to provide knowledge, develop the skills for, and offer tools on the topic to teachers of different subjects and secondary education pedagogy students.

In order to improve the next versions of the course, and design a training curriculum that is most pertinent and responsive to the needs of educators, a survey will be conducted before and after the end of the course.

Through random sampling, the teachers will be contacted by telephone between Monday, December 7, and Sunday, December 20, and will be asked to characterize the impact of economic and financial education on the school community. The results of these interviews will be kept under absolute confidentiality and in a secured system that meets international standards.

If you have any questions about this study, you can contact those in charge, via email:  encuesta@cursoadistancia.cl , or by phone: +56.9.8201.4822.
