MIPP Researchers Marcela Valenzuela and Alejandro Bernales together with former student Italo Riarte were awarded one of the Asian Finance Association Best Paper Awards at the 29th AsianFA Conference 2017, held in Seul, Korea, between July 8 and 8, 2017.
The award, sponsored and selected by Asian Finance Association, is given to the three best papers in contribution to the conference’s high-quality.
The AsianFA annual conference provides an open platform for finance scholars and practitioners worldwide to meet and share their recent research and exange ideas and information on new developments in finance research. The majority of the sessions include papers selected through open competition, double blind-reviewed by a commitee of established researchers.
