About 40 communications professionals gathered to discuss the best outreach strategies for the research institutions under the umbrella of the Millennium Scientific Initiative.
The meeting of the representatives from Millennium Centers and Institutes of the Millennium Scientific Initiative (Spanish: ICM) took place in the premises of the Engineering Department of the Faculty of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, hosted by the Millennium Institute for Research in Market Imperfections and Public Policy (MIPP).
This gathering served as a ground for representatives to discuss and share opinions and strategies for the dissemination of knowledge, tools, and technologies developed by the researchers and scientists from the ICM.
During the activity, the participants also agreed on the importance of a nationwide publicity campaign through different channels (media, educational workshops, and fairs, to name a few), on the scientific knowledge produced by these institutions whose objective is to contribute to the development of the country.
