Collaborative and multidisciplinary research: #VidaenPandemia

24 September, 2020

Inequality has a primary socioeconomic connotation that also translates into different ways of living everyday life and understanding society in contexts of crisis such as the current one. This is one of the first approaches to the #VidaenPandemia study, a longitudinal and interdisciplinary research initiative, conducted by the University of Chile, which will monitor the material conditions and feelings of different groups of the population regarding the new reality of life under COVID-19.

The project is headed by the Faculty of Social Sciences of the University of Chile and is sponsored by central campus organs, the Institute for Research in Market Imperfections and Public Policy (MIPP), and UNESCO. The participants are researchers from the University, from the faculties of Social Sciences, Economics and Business, Physical Sciences and Mathematics, Philosophy and Humanities, Medicine, and Law.
