In mid-July (15-19), Juan Escobar and Rahmi Ilkilic, both academics of the Department of Industrial Engineering and researchers with the MIPP Institute, will participate in the 30th International Conference on Game Theory, organized by the Stony Brook University (New York), one of the most important establishments in Game Theory.
This conference is organized, among others, by the Nobel Prize in Economics winner, Alvin Roth, and Juan Escobar will be attending as a guest speaker, the only one from a Latin American university, along with researchers from the universities of Stanford, Princeton, UCLA, MIT, Chicago, Columbia and Penn State, among others.
Rahmi Ilkiliç has also been invited as an organizer for one of the sessions of the conference, “Bias and Polarization in Opinion Formation”.
