For the third consecutive year, the Santiago Finance Workshop meeting, organized by the Millennium Institute for Research in Market Imperfections and Public Policy (MIPP), and the Finance Center, both of Industrial Engineering of the University of Chile, and the Faculty of Economy and Business of the U. de Chile – with the support of the Central Bank – brought together academics, regulators and specialists from around the world to exchange knowledge about new research in finance.
This edition, held on December 11 and 12 at the Beauchef and FEN campuses, was attended by Andrew Karolyi, a prominent academic of Finance at Cornell University and Executive Director of Review of Financial Studies, who gave the lecture titled “Cracking the home bias enigma “.
