Being a platform for scientific dissemination in economics, as well as a place where ideas are debated among people interested in public policy and the economy, is the objective of “Miradas MIPP”, a web page created by the Millennium Institute for Research in Market Imperfections and Public Policy, of the Milenio Scientific Initiative.
An empirical, economic and scientific perspective on the topics of crime, the healthcare system, AFPs, game theory, international finance, international relations, and the gender gap, is part of the content of Miradas MIPP, the scientific and economic dissemination platform created by the Millennium Institute MIPP, which aims to provide a space for the debate between “policy makers” and people interested in the economy.
“With this platform, in addition to disseminating our scientific research, we intend to contribute with empirical evidence to the discussion of various public policies and decision making”, says Juan Escobar, Director of the Millennium Institute MIPP and academic at the Industrial Engineering department, University of Chile.
In this context, “Miradas MIPP” is the latest initiative in the on going scientific and economic dissemination efforts of the Millennium Institute MIPP, where readers can find opinion columns, studies, insights and more.
