Open Course “Financial Education for Citizens”, Second Version

Patricio Valenzuela, MIPP Researcher, is part of the Academic Team for the Open Course “Financial Education for Citizens”, Second Version.This course aims to deliver concepts and tools to anyone interested in reflecting on the current economic system, particularly on personal habits and strategies for economic resources organization, seeking for a critical, responsible, and efficient consumption.

As a result of an unprecedented collaboration between Universidad de Chile and Universidad de la Frontera (UFRO), this course was designed by the Centro de Excelencia en Psicología Económica y del Consumo (CEPEC) from UFRO, including a multidisciplinary team whose members belong to the fields of Psychology, History, Communications, Administration, and Finance.

The course is free of charge, it is a distance learning course, and the beginning of clases is on October, 3rd. Those who are interested on the course can find more information and register on the UAbierta from Universidad de Chile website.
