UNICEF CHILE, in collaboration with Superintendencia de Bancos e Instituciones Financieras (SBIF) and Millennium Institute for Market Imperfections and Public Policies (MIPP), presented Calendar 2016 to 4th and 5th graders of school República de Colombia in Santiago.
The event took place on April 28, 2016, with the participation of Eric Parrado, superintendent of banks and financial institutions; Hai Kyung Jun, representative of UNICEF Chile; and Virginia Garretón, executive director of Iniciativa Científica Milenio (ICM).
The activity was oriented to present children’s rights with focus on financial education, a subject developed by Superintendent Eric Parrado on a class in which he explained concepts such as spending, saving, and investing with the perspective of financial education for children.
At the end of the activity, UNICEF delivered the 2016 calendar to the school community among an enthusiastic audience.
