The Superintendencia de Bancos e Instituciones Financieras (SBIF) is celebrating, for the third consecutive year, the Financial Education Month, which has the objective to raise awareness about the importance of financial education for the economic well-being of the community.
In this context, around 50 institutions will attend the Financial Education Fair at Centro Cultural del Palacio la Moneda, Santiago, scheduled on October 4th and 5th, 2016. This event will exhibit different educational activities to promote topics on financial education and inclusion.
During this exhibition, the SBIF in collaboration with the Millennium Institute for Market Imperfections and Public Policy (MIPP) will celebrate the Financial Education and Inclusion Award oriented to reward outstanding initiatives which aim to educate the community, at different ages, on relevant financial topics. The price will be awarded on October 4th, 15:30.
All the activities will be held at Centro Cultural Palacio la Moneda between October 4th at 09.00am.
